YWAM Outback Darwin

The Northern Territory is Australia’s smallest territory numbering just over 200,00 people.

However, in terms of geographic size it covers a vast section of northern Australia that includes both arid desert and tropical rainforest.

The NT is famous for landmarks such as Ayres Rock (Uluru) Kakadu National Park, and Katherine Gorge, all spectacular natural wonders that draw over 1.7 million visitors to the NT each year.

The NT is home to many young people. The average age of 30 represents the youngest median age in Australia.

Darwin, Alice Springs, Katherine and Tennant Creek are four major centres of populations in the Territory, with these four locations representing over 75% of the population.
