Local outreach is a great time of adventure discovering more of Australia as we minister in schools, churches and the streets, performing dramas, dances and songs; running religious education classes and mixing with the locals in their hometowns. In prior outreaches we have participated in everything from helping run youth camps to concerts and open-air events. We've also helped with local sporting events and taken part in local radio shows. Some of our local outreaches can also include a more practical approach such as painting, gardening, and building, as we seek to bless and minister to the individual needs of the community we work with. These opportunities provide great exposure to different ministry tools and give rise to creative strategies for relationship evangelism, prayer and intercession. At the heart of all we do is the desire to share the great hope we have in Christ with the lost of this nation.
Within the Northern Territory, our outreaches take in a breadth of activity, from events in our city to involvement in the surrounding indigenous communities in Arnhem Land. Darwin is also an incredible launching pad into South East Asia. We are strategically positioned to impact the surrounding nations, a majority of which doesn’t practice Christianity.
